Broken Bone Accident II

So the lady with the broken neck went in for her MRI, but as it turned out, she got claustrophobic in the MRI chamber and had to be pulled out.  We ended up having to get a CT scan.  The CT came back negative for spinal cord compression or disk herniation.

So what to do?  First, I relaxed her neck and upper back muscles with electric muscle stim and heat.  Then I worked out the muscles spasms manually with deep tissue massage, and then I adjusted her.

What?!?!  That’s right–I gave her a good ol’ fashioned chiropractic adjustment.  I didn’t touch her fractured C7 vertebra, but I adjusted everything else.  Since she had never been adjusted before, she was a little freaked, but she got instant relief.  I called her later that night to check on her and she was happy.  She has a broken neck, but she feels better because she was adjusted.  Thank goodness for chiropractic!
