Leslie Truex truly knows how to combine comfort with making a living. For over a decade she has been working at home, often in her pajamas, and helping others do the same.
Before finding success working at home, she ran into many of the same problems other work-at-home wannabes encounter. She fell for a variety of scams and schemes that cost her money and nearly her dreams of being home with the kids.
But Leslie persevered and eventually found herself working at home not just in one job, but several. She has telecommuted as a school program coordinator, social worker, sales woman, and real estate agent. In recent years, she has worked as a freelance researcher and writer for several
Internet companies, as well as a freelance web site manager.
In 1998, Leslie started sharing her real life experiences and tips to other work-at-home wannabes through her website Work-At-Home Success (http://www.workathomesuccess.com). Today the website is recognized by telework and small business associations as a quality resource for work-at-home information. Leslie’s articles appear all over the Internet and many more resources quote or mention Leslie’s website in their articles.
Today Leslie still telecommutes as a domestic adoption coordinator for a non-profit adoption agency. She continues to run Work-At-Home Success and create informative resources on telecommuting and working at home such as The Guide to Jobs Online (http://www.jobsonlinetoolkit.com). She’s recently added author to her list of “jobs”. Her book The Work-At-Home Success Bible will be released by Adams Media in December 2008.

work at home jobs…
Information on this subject is not always as straight forward as it first appears. I know I used to just use a common sense approach, but now I do direct research before coming up with my next move. Keep the information coming….
Small Business Associations…
This enables authors to keep track of who is linking to, or referring…
Yes a lot of research about a company is definitely important and or mandatory when looking for a work at home job. I have been scammed so many times, I almost gave up. I must say perseverance is a must. I have been working at home as a web designer for over 7 years. I have raised my kids, paid my mortgage, run an everyday household all from working at home. It’s an awesome feeling to not have to leave your house but still make money. Do ur research and never give up.

So true. I did a lot of research when I first started looking for a work at home job. My sister had been doing it for years. I just never thought of a “guy” working from home. Now I see, it’s the wave of the future. I jumped on the bandwagon, lol. Scams are out there, as long as we are aware of them, its the first step. Just never pay for a job, but those work at home message boards are great for speaking with other moms and dads and work at homers and whats legit and what isn’t. GL

With the situation in the economy being the way it is, I had often wondered what I could do to change my situaion and help people increase the amount of money in their accounts.
In these difficult times, I have seen people lose both their jobs and homes. Stay-at-home moms and dads wondering what they could do to assist their working spouse.
I have come up with a solution which has helped people earn money on bills which their friends & family pay on a monthly basis.
People have always been weary of work-at-home businesses because they are told to pay money before they can start the business. Do not worry, this is a work-at-home job. You work from home and I pay you. There is no financial obligation to you. What is the catch? NONE! It feels good to help people
